It was the annual emergence of the flying ants today which meant that we had to contend with an invasion of seagulls looking for lunch.
The rain came down on the last day of the mini triples tournament so honours were shared between Mike Meadows and Stuart Shwartz's teams.
We now look forward to the Monday Night Triples League which commences on July 13th. Click here to access the MNT page for more details.

Tarring Picnic in the Park .....
IThe Picnic offered us the perfect opportunity to allow young and old a free try out on the green. The second picture shows the green set out for fun bowls with lots of smaller bowls for youngsters to get to grips with. It was also time to hand over the £1300 to Guildcare in the form of a a rather large cheque.
Our Fund raising evening for Guildcare -
definitely a fun way to raise money
8 teams from local businesses enjoyed an evening of bowls and curry at the Church House Gardens Bowling Green.
Carpenter Box won the event which was sponsored by Alexanders Kitchens, B & W, and Ian Hart Funeral Services. The curry was made by Shaffiques of Goring Rd. Trophies and Medals for the event were donated by Butch Shakespeare.

Saturday 22nd of September 2018
A combination of Priory players, their partners and a few invited guests spent an entertaining and very pleasurable afternoon in the company of Woolston Bowls Club.
It was far too wet for bowls, but those ingenious Woolston chaps had an ace up their sleeve.
They are the proud owners of a portable skittle alley, which alongside one or two drinks and an excellent meal entertained us all for the afternoon.
