Tarring Picnic in the Park  .....

IThe Picnic offered us the perfect opportunity to allow young and old a free try out on the green. The second picture shows the green set out for fun bowls with lots of smaller bowls for youngsters to get to grips with. It was also time to hand over the £1300 to Guildcare in the form of a a rather large cheque.

Our Fund raising evening for Guildcare -

definitely a fun way to raise money

8 teams from local businesses enjoyed an evening of bowls and curry at the Church House Gardens Bowling Green.

Carpenter Box won the event which was sponsored by Alexanders Kitchens, B & W, and Ian Hart Funeral Services. The curry was made by Shaffiques of Goring Rd. Trophies and Medals  for the event were donated by Butch Shakespeare.

In excess of £1300 was raised for our local charity Guildcare.

OPEN DAY 18th May 2019

We had a good turn out of members to support our newly interested and prospective club members to have a bowls try out.

There was another bottle of wine to be won and this time the prize went to Susan Houghton.

Hazel Sherman our local vicar not only tried her hand at bowling but also won a bottle of wine in the raffle

Saturday 22nd of September 2018

A combination of Priory players, their partners and a few invited guests spent an entertaining and very pleasurable afternoon in the company of Woolston Bowls Club.

It was far too wet for bowls, but those ingenious Woolston chaps had an ace up their sleeve.

They are the proud owners of a portable skittle alley, which alongside one or two drinks and an excellent meal entertained us all for the afternoon.
